How it works

Stage 1
Developing the idea

Come to us with a concept, a script, or just the spark of an idea – we’ll help shape it into something ready to move.

We’ll listen, advise, and work with you to define the best creative direction and format for your story, audience and platform.

Stage 2
Selecting the creatives

We curate a tailored team from our network of illustrators, designers, animators and voice talent .

We produce both 2D and 3D motion, working with Plastic Horse, our hugely talented in-house animation partners, or a specialist animator for 3D and CGI. It's always matched to your brief, tone and timeline.

Stage 3
Animation production

This is where ideas take shape. We guide you through storyboarding development and voice over options, defining visual rhythm, camera flow and how the key moments land with an animatic.

You’ll see sketches, timings and pacing before we move into full production, giving you clarity and confidence at every step.

Stage 4
Sound production

We bring everything together with bespoke sound or the perfect track. Our in-house sound designer, Lost Machines, crafts music, sound effects and audio that elevates the narrative – from subtle textures to full soundscapes.

Stage 5
Final delivery

We'll deliver the final piece in the formats you require so you can roll it out for your project. We'll discuss the formats needed at the very start of the project with you, to make sure you have what you need.

FAQs

What do I need to get started?
Just an idea is enough. But whether you have a script, a rough storyboard or simply a creative direction, we’ll help shape it into a strong brief and guide the project from there.
How long does it take?
It depends on the complexity and scope, but most projects take between 4 to 8 weeks from initial conversation to final delivery. This includes creative development, storyboarding, animation and sound. We’ll build a timeline around your goals and make sure you're clear on what to expect at each stage.
How much does it cost?
Budgets vary depending on length, style and production needs. We’ll provide a clear, tailored quote at the start, and have the experience to find the right illustrators, animators and process to deliver the result you need within your budget.
Do you offer sound and music?
Yes – we create bespoke music and sound design in-house through our partner, Lost Machines, or can source and license existing tracks, adapting our approach based on your needs and budget. We're flexible and can tailor the sound to suit the tone and scale of the project.
Can I bring in my own voiceover artist?
Yes – if you already have a preferred voiceover artist we’re happy to collaborate. We can also handle casting and direction through our network of trusted talent.
Can you animate artwork I already have?
In many cases, yes – we’ll review the artwork and see what’s possible based on the format and quality. We'll always do our best to work with existing assets if that's what makes sense for the project.
Can you help with scriptwriting or concept development?
Absolutely. We regularly help shape early-stage ideas – from defining messaging and structure to writing scripts and visual treatments. Whether you’re starting from a loose idea or a detailed brief, we can support the creative direction from the ground up.
What if I’ve never commissioned animation before?
That’s completely fine. We’ll guide you through the process step by step – from planning and production through to delivery – making sure it’s collaborative, clear and stress-free from start to finish.
