Bringing the AOI's mission and purpose to life.

Since 1973 the The Association of Illustrators has been championing illustrators and the industry with education, promotion and campaigning. We partnered with them to produce a playful yet informative animation for their About page – also designed to crop seamlessly for social channels – to take viewers on a journey through the AOI's mission and purpose.

Illustrated and storyboarded  by illustrator Kezia Gabriella and brought to life by our in-house team – Plastic Horse for animation and Lost Machines for sound – we led both creative direction and production. The result is a distinctive, on-brand piece that captures the AOI’s spirit and connects with audiences across platforms.

Working closely with the team at the AOI, we selected a style of illustration that would bring warmth and texture, choose to work with Kezia for her playful approach to story telling (and who also happens to be an AOI member!).
