
Bold stills & dynamic motion for Wero, the European digital wallet.
Wero, Europe’s first unified digital wallet and instant payments solution, needed illustration-led visuals befitting to its groundbreaking service. EPI (European Payments Initiative) invited illustrator Thomas Hedger to develop a suite of bold visuals for the launch campaign that conveyed speed and simplicity while building a distinctive brand identity across app, website, and advertising.
Thomas created a refreshing set of illustrations exploring the theme of speed in playful, abstract ways. We worked with him through Grand Motion to animate the artwork, producing short, dynamic assets that highlighted Wero’s promise of money transfers in ten seconds or less. The collaboration pushed Thomas’ practice into new territory, blending 2D illustration with 3D-inspired movement for a fresh visual language.
