Celebrating creativity and our favourite Christmas songs with daily animated surprises.

To celebrate the festive season and support the award winning arts charity, Heart n Soul, we transformed our homepage into an interactive countdown. The idea was to create a playful and heart-warming showcase of our artists that evolved daily in the run up to Christmas, and spread festive cheer while raising funds for a cause close to our hearts.

We led the creative direction and full production of The Grand Holly Jolly Hotel – a digital countdown and prize draw. Each day in December revealed a new animated illustration inspired by a Christmas song, created by our artists and animated by in-house duo Plastic Horse. The hotel was handcrafted in paper by artist Owen Gildersleeve, with a bespoke soundscape by Lost Machines completing the ambiance. Together, it became a joyful campaign that highlighted our artists, production skills and support for an important cause.

The project was visually unified by Owen Gildersleeve’s handcrafted paper hotel, which served as the central stage for the countdown with a tactile edge. While this gave the campaign a cohesive anchor, each of our artists had free rein to create their own animated element inspired by a Christmas song. The result was a series of unique daily reveals that felt fresh and surprising, yet tied together by the charm of the hotel setting.
