Bauhaus Goes Boom
Thomas Hedger was commissioned to design the cover for the Summer ’19 issue of architecture and design magazine, ICON.
The issue celebrates the centenary of Bauhaus, and looks into the lesser known impact the famous design school had around the world. As such, Thomas’ cover is heavily influenced by the Bauhaus movement.

Thomas mixes strong line work, geometric and fluid shapes, and bold colour to create punchy illustrations and 3D installations. He takes inspiration in particular from nature and architecture, exploring isometric dimensions and ambient spaces.
