Rob Lowe, AKA Supermundane, is an artist and writer. He creates abstract artwork featuring strong line work, geometrical shapes and bold use of colour with an optimistic and playful edge, often featuring typography. His compositions come together organically with unique detail and balance.
Rob’s work can be seen across a huge variety of outputs, from large scale murals and installations to branding, packaging and fashion & homeware collaborations. Rob released his own book 'Lost Ordinary Magic' with Little Brown in 2024, and clients include Great Ormond Street, Art Fund, UEFA and London Graphic Centre amongst many others.

"
I love seeing how people interact with my mural work and how it makes people smile. It's a privilege to work at scale in public spaces and it's always a thrill to see my work huge.
"
My work has a natural positivity to it. I want it to make people happy but also think. Work that brings people joy is important; positivity breeds positivity.
"
My work is adaptable to different uses from an enamel badge or tote bag to a three-storey mural. I’m interested in how it can be applied in ways I haven’t even thought of.
"
I’m constantly trying new ways of working and thinking about my work and its place in the world.
Small things can have a big effect: a new pen, a sentence in a novel or a train journey can lead to new ideas.
