Saskia Pomeroy at The Conran Shop
Surface designer and artist Saskia Pomeroy recently teamed up with silkscreen printing specialists Make Ready, for one of nine events as part of The Conran Shop’s Global Market series during London Craft Week 2018.
For a special press morning, Saskia and Make Ready combined their expertise to demonstrate the mono printing process, painting directly onto the open mesh of a silkscreen, and creating unique original prints in store. Customers were also able to watch and take part in the process at the Chelsea store, using Saskia’s fluid bold shapes and vivid colours to create their own prints to take home with them.

A multidisciplinary artist working across print, drawing, painting, sculpture and textiles, Saskia explores the relationship between colour, texture and shape. Her joyous images take inspiration from nature, glyphs and ancient art, and clients include Harvey Nichols, Folk Clothing and MTV.
