Owen Gildersleeve for Jigsaw

Owen Gildersleeve was commissioned by director Nick Cinelli to create the the paper set    for a heart warming stop frame animation about togetherness this Christmas, for fashion retailer Jigsaw in collaboration with the National Film and Television School.

Owen designed and created a street of beautiful London townhouses and interior sets made from paper, decked out with furniture and Christmas decorations akin to the characters’ individual up bringing’s, which were brought to life by Nick and the team.

The film shows the story of Caspian and Isobel, childhood friends from neighbouring families, whose love for each over grows over the years. The characters are puppets dressed in miniature versions of Jigsaw clothes from the winter collection.
