Martha Olivia X Google 

As part of Google Chrome’s 'Rising Artists' series, Martha was one of six carefully selected Gen-Z artists commissioned to create a collection of four different themes for the desktop Chrome browser, with the aim to create artwork that resonates with the next generation. Each theme centred around concepts such as: Explore, Create, Find and Connect and Martha was tasked to interpret these themes creatively in a way of her choosing.

With each theme having a different mood, Martha wanted the scenes to be thought provoking and with a colour palette that gives a sense of calm and joy to look at each day.
To bring them to life and add a sense of curiosity, Martha added shading and intricate details – giving each design its own narrative for the viewer to connect with within their chosen theme. 

One of the best parts of any project for me is seeing the designs in context. Setting my illustrations as the Google homepage was super exciting, it makes the illustrations come to life and really elevates them.
