Badges of Honour

Textile artist Jessica Dance has created a series of embroidered patches for Volkswagen playfully showcasing the skills and experience of their aftersales team. Photographed by James Day, these ‘badges of honour’ form part of a new visual language toolkit and will appear in promotional communications.

The idea is inspired by Scout and Brownie badges, collected for achievements and worn with pride, to communicate a sense of  trust and commitment. The designs act as icons representing their various services, functions and skills, and when applied to model photography are a pop of colour and focal point.
