Friends Flow Yoga with Hey Duggee
Textile artist Jessica Dance was commissioned by BBC Studios Creative to bring to life the chicken and frog characters from popular children’s animated TV series Hey Duggee, in large scale, to be part of their Friends Flow yoga video aimed at its young viewers.
The colourful characters were created using MDF frames, expertly constructed by Morrell and Bert, that Jessica carefully covered in fabric sewn and fit to size, along with the finishing touches. Jessica also made smaller knitted versions of the characters that can be used as soft toys.
