Sense Sign School

Alice Bowsher has been collaborating with GOOD Agency and charity Sense on their recently launched sign school – a monthly course teaching British Sign Language to subscribers delivered to your home in the post. 

The course has been specially designed for beginners, each month delivered by a different teacher on a new topic. Alice’s illustrations visualise the themes and signs within a printed booklet and set of flash cards throughout the duration of the 6 month course, as well as creating each teacher as an illustrated character. Overall Alice illustrated 48 feelings, objects and items, as well as more than 100 signs. 

As part of the surrounding marketing campaign, Alice worked with her long time collaborators Plastic Horse, an animation duo who brought them to life with motion for some short videos released on social media.
