Brain-Fizzing Facts
For the past several months Alice has had the pleasure of working with publishers Bloomsbury to illustrate a new children’s science book. Each spread of the book has been fully illustrated by Alice and contains a whole host of fun characters in her recognisable ink-brush style.

Written by Dr Emily Grossman, ‘Brain-Fizzing Facts: Awesome Science Questions Answered’ is a fully illustrated science themed quiz book aimed at children that uncovers amazing scientific explanations behind all sorts of questions about the universe.

Dr Emily Grossman is an expert in molecular biology and genetics with a Double First in Natural Sciences from Queens’ College Cambridge and a PhD in cancer research. She also trained and worked as an actress and singer, and as a maths and science teacher, and now combines those skills as a science communicator, broadcaster, public speaker, author and trainer.

About Alice Bowsher
Alice creates joyful illustrated characters and large scale murals, full of imagination and intrigue. She has illustrated and authored a number of children’s story books, and her clients include Bloomsbury Publishing, SoulCycle, ANNA Money and Boden.
