Absolutely No Nonsense Admin

Alice Bowsher has teamed up with NB Studio and Michael Wolff to create a suite of charming illustrations, with heaps of personality, to help communicate the human side to new finance brand, Anna.

Anna stands for Absolutely No Nonsense Admin, and is a hybrid digital assistant aimed at creative individuals and small businesses. It’s an app, a card and business account that uses artificial intelligence along with human insight.

The illustrations form a central part of the look and feel of the brand, with 70 designs including characters, text and icons making up the Anna world. See below for a short film explaining more about the service, with Alice’s illustrations animated by duo Plastic Horse.

As a small business owner, you’re there to do something you love. The identity we created features illustrations by Alice Bowsher, whose charming, playful drawings help make Anna an approachable and relatable brand.

The warmth of the terracotta orange throughout the website, digital platforms and collateral stands in sharp contrast to the traditional cold blues of banks, corporations and traditional fintech.
