Say hello to Mini Editions 

We're excited to present Mini Editions, a new interiors brand created by Grand Matter co-founders Ciara Phelan and Dorcas Brown, curating playful art prints for an inspiring home – designed for children, made with thoughtful interior design in mind. 

The launch introduces a collection of playful artwork, in collaboration with a superb selection of 8 artists chosen for their playful energy and creative curiosity. Including our very own Alice Bowsher – who has also created a series of illustrations for the brand – Hollie Fuller, Owen Gildersleeve and Charlotte Mei, as well as Nous Vous’ Nicolas Burrows and artists Caroline Dowsett, Max Machen and Marcus Oakley.

Prints are available in a range of sizes, with the option to have prints framed, choosing from a specially selected range of eco-friendly Little Greene Paint colours for a bespoke finish.

I have vivid memories of the artwork on my own walls as a child. With the incredible network of talented artists we have through Grand Matter, it felt like the perfect opportunity to start something special in this area.

Art arrives in plastic-free recyclable packaging, but customers can discover fun ways to give the tubes and boxes a second life as part of their growing ‘Mini Makers’ online hub, complete with ideas and free activity sheets, devised by artists and designed to inspire creativity, to keep the little ones happily entertained.

The visual identity was created by London-based design agency, iWANT Design, to allow the artwork to take centre stage, whilst bringing together the playfulness of a children’s brand with the poise of an interiors brand.

Mini Editions not only aims to curate a playful selection of art prints, but to celebrate children’s creativity and encourage their curiosity about the world around them, to feel like artists themselves. This ethos is ingrained throughout, from the artwork itself to the branding, packaging and online community, an aspect that presents much potential for future ambitions.

What I love is inspiring people to curate their own spaces and express themselves. The way a space makes you feel, the things you put in it and the stories behind them.
