50 years of Pride

To mark the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, we partnered with artist t-shirt printing platform Everpress to launch a curated collection of t-shirts designed by a select group of creatives and celebrating all things Pride.

Each design is available to order in the lead up to London Pride, with 50% of the profits from sales of each t-shirt going directly to the artist, and the other 50% being donated to akt to support the amazing work they do helping homeless LGBTQ+ youth.

It's 50 years since the Stonewall Riots. In many parts of the world people are still being persecuted for their gender identity and sexuality. My illustration is to remind people that Pride isn't one big party, yet.

Growing up I’ve always loved flowers but was never confident enough to buy them for fear of it being interpreted as ‘feminine’ or ‘gay’. Now that I’ve been able to accept myself fully, I no longer let other people’s opinions get in the way of the things I enjoy.
