Kong
London-based illustrator Lily Kong creates joyful illustrations about the everyday. She brings pleasure to the awkward moments in life, and explores heavier topics through relatable humour and meme-like observations. Clients include Ace & Tate, Buzzfeed and It's Nice That amongst others, and her work translates from on page to large scale outputs alike.

"
My practice celebrates the joyful moments and challenges others to find the humour in the loneliness, awkwardness in our daily lives.
"
I love how illustration can shape and change personal experiences. It can empower others and myself to think differently of our daily experience.
"
I am a big fan of introducing a dense topic through simple, comical, humanised narratives. As an artist, it is always intriguing to dig into the serious themes and find the humour from within.
"
I just started learning 3D and hopefully I can deliver something different and fun within the practice. I imagine myself making my characters come into life and having a life of their own.
